School uniforms are important for children because they help them feel like members of a special group. The X11 Apostles RC Primary School uniform is a simple one - basically grey or black, with a white shirt, polo shirt, or blouse, and a red cardigan. In order to reinforce a sense of belonging, it is recommended by the school that children wear sweaters with the school logo on them. Girls may wear gingham dresses during the warmer months. Children must wear warm and waterproof outer coats while playing outdoors in the winter.

• Pinafore dress/shorts/skirt/trousers in grey or black
• Blouse/polo shirt/plain shirt in white
• School cardigan/sweatshirt in red (with school logo)
• Gingham summer dress in red and white (optional)
• ‘Plain, flat school shoes in black
• Neatly tied back hair (if it’s longer than collar length)
• Simple wristwatch or stud earrings allowed
